Overview 

​

The language learning eLearning materials were designed to enhance scholar participation in communication and storytelling through a variety of language courses. With experience in creating content for Russian, Chinese, English, and Spanish language learners, this project emphasized accessibility, cultural awareness, and engaging instructional strategies. The work involved collaborating with subject matter experts, developing interactive modules, and using multimedia tools to create a dynamic learning experience for diverse audiences, from military personnel to business professionals and students.

Objective

 

The primary objective was to create accessible, high-quality language learning materials that cater to different learners, including military personnel, business professionals, and students. By incorporating storytelling and context-driven scenarios, these materials promote communication skills, cultural understanding, and learner engagement.

Key Deliverables 

 

  • Online Modules: Developed comprehensive language learning modules in Russian, Chinese, English, and Spanish, using engaging, interactive content tailored to various learner needs.

  • Video and Animation Content: Created video lessons and voice-over animations to support language comprehension, pronunciation, and cultural storytelling.

  • Facilitation and Professional Development: Conducted training sessions for South Korean adult instructors in English Language Learning, enhancing their teaching methods and communication strategies.

Spanish Language Learning Materials

  • Adobe Animate: Edited animations to support reading comprehension and vocabulary building, adding a dynamic visual element to the learning experience.

  • Online Module Creation: Designed and built interactive modules for language learning using Articulate Storyline 360, incorporating listening, speaking, and reading activities tailored to learners’ proficiency levels.

  • Facilitation and Collaboration: Facilitated English Language Learning for South Korean instructors, guiding professional development workshops and enhancing their teaching practices. Worked closely with subject matter experts to create culturally relevant content in Russian and Chinese.

  • Voiceovers and Video Editing: Provided voiceovers for reading comprehension exercises, using Adobe Audition for audio editing. Edited video lessons with Adobe Premiere Pro to create engaging visual content that supports language acquisition.

  • Animation Editing: Leveraged Adobe Animate to create educational animations, making complex language concepts more accessible and interactive for learners.

Outcome

 

​These language learning materials achieved the goal of creating an interactive, learner-centered approach to language acquisition. By using storytelling, multimedia elements, and collaborative curriculum development, the content fostered communication, cultural awareness, and engagement in diverse educational settings. The project successfully provided accessible and high-quality language education tailored to various audiences, enhancing their language skills and cultural understanding.
